Nicole Cote began to draw and paint at an early age. As she grew older the demands of earning a living left her only sporadic intervals to nurture this interest. During those years she experimented with India ink and oils. Additionally, she developed a skill in calligraphy. She moved to Foymount, Ontario in 1995 and now has sufficient freedom to devote as much time as she wants to painting. Today she works primarily in acrylics and soft pastels. Nicole enjoys landscapes of Ottawa Valley scenes and semi-abstracts based upon her interest in the universe.
