Panorama and Ice
Good ice making weather the past few days and some shacks are starting to get out on the lake. A few snowmobiles and ATVs are sneaking out on the area of older, stronger ice but no larger vehicles. If you look at the photo below taken from one of our overlooks, you can see the line between the older, stronger ice and newer stuff. If you go out onto the newer stuff you need to check the thickness frequently and be aware that some areas are still far from being safe.
Be very careful once you cross the line!
