March Thaw: Life in the Slush Zone

The weather seems a month ahead of itself this week with days well above freezing and nights just below. Everything seems to be melting quicker than the Wicked Witch of the West after a shower. Still, there is plenty to melt and while some ice shacks have left the lake a few hard core ice anglers are sticking to the bitter, if not milder, end.

Below are some photographs of where things are for now.

The lake is looking a bit empty.
