Large Shaded Campsites

Paved roads bring you to our large, level and well shaded camping sites. They are designed to suit everything from tents to fifth wheels. You are welcome to stay as little as one night or for the entire season. Each site features full electric, water and sewer services and is equipped with a fire ring and picnic table.

Clean Modern Washrooms

All campsites are just a short walk from our central washrooms. Here you will find hot showers and flush toilets in a clean environment. Washrooms are open 24 hours a day and regularly inspected.

Quality Environment

We make every effort to ensure that your vacation will be free from worry. Our water supply is drawn from a cool, 200 foot deep well and is tested regularly to ensure that it is soft and fresh. Our campsites are inspected daily for trash and debris. Should problems arise, you will find one of the owners available at all times to assist you.

Pets

Even Rover needs a holiday and is welcome at Opeongo. We do insist that they be kept quiet and on a leash while the are here. In addition; owners are required to clean up after their pets and not take them onto the beach.

2008 Camping Prices

Sites with electric, water and sewer...$34.00 daily...$185.00 weekly....$1395.00* seasonally

Sites without services........................$32.00 daily....$170.00 weekly

(* The seasonal price shown is an average which includes some extras like heavy duty electrical hook up. Depending upon what services you request for your seasonal site, what you pay may be a bit lower or a bit higher.)

Seasonal camping price includes free winter storage for those who are continuing to camp with us the following year. Call or email us for more details on our affordable seasonal camping policies.

Boat launching is free to our camping guests. For details on docking slip or boat and motor rentals please follow this link to our Marina services page.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include the 5% GST and the use of air conditioners for which there is an extra charge of $8.00 per day or $105.00 per season. As of July 1st, 2010 the GST is replaced with the new 13% HST wich will be charged on all camp site rentals. (We are not happy about this but if you are looking for someone to blame, try Queen's Park in Toronto.)

The price in U.S. Dollars is nearly equal to the Canadian dollar price at this time. Exchange rates can change daily but we always give fair exchange and if the U.S. dollar rises, we will pass that savings along to our U.S. guests. Additionally, we will always accept U.S. Dollars at par when the U.S. dollar falls below Canadian currency.

Reservations

Our campground is very popular and we recommend that you make reservations prior to arrival. Reservations are accepted by telephone at 1-800-565-9623. A deposit of one night's stay is required and may be mailed in or accepted over the phone on Master Card or VISA credit cards.
